Course Content

At the end of this class your dog will know how to:
process environments and offer appropriate behaviours in a variety of settings.

We work on many techniques for nice loose lead walking and build solid off lead recalls.

We show you how to change from the Lure method of training to Command and reward training and teach you the difference between Active training and Passive training techniques.

We also show you how to keep your dog safe around roads and show you how to implement boundaries into your home to keep your dog out of "No Go Zones". We practice Door Etiquette and do extensive work on Impulse Control (only moving when released).

One of our main focuses of this class is to build a solid off lead recall with you & your dog, we show you more then one way to get your dog to return to you off lead. Information is provided on stimulating games to play with your dog, ways to cure your dog’s boredom and ways to prevent future behavioural issues.

We show you how to desensitize your dog to movement around them to keep both your dog and other people safe. We work outside in this class to get your dog used to processing distractions.

This class is a great follow on from Puppy Preschool but is suitable for any aged sociable dog that needs a training refresher.
